Human AHRR (Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor Repressor) ELISA Kit
Human AHRR (Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor Repressor) ELISA Kit
The Human (AHRR) Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor Repressor ELISA Kit measures Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor Repressor in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human AHRR antibody. AHRR present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human AHRR Antibody is added and binds to AHRR in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated AHRR antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human AHRR. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Mediates dioxin toxicity and is involved in regulation of cell growth and differentiation. Represses the transcription activity of AHR by competing with this transcription factor for heterodimer formation with the ARNT and subsequently binding to the xenobiotic response element (XRE) sequence present in the promoter regulatory region of variety of genes. Represses CYP1A1 by binding the XRE sequence and recruiting ANKRA2, HDAC4 and/or HDAC5. Autoregulates its expression by associating with its own XRE site. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
