Product Manager, Research Products

The Product Manager is responsible for developing product pipeline strategy and portfolio evolution through customer engagement and market research. Effectively work within a cross functional team to inspire and influence above authority. Effective collaboration and tight coordination with local and global marketing partners.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive portfolio / product strategy that includes product requirements, pricing strategy, and launch logistics to accomplish business objectives.
  • Conduct market research working closely with customers, medical affairs, global product management, and internal stakeholders to define product pipeline needs and strategy
  • Build business case and investment strategy across point of care infectious disease product line
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, technology trends, identification and assessment of significant growth opportunities, and create strategies that deliver profitable market share.
  • Identify and execute market research activities to drive business platform/portfolio decisions
  • Lead commercial cross functional collaboration across infectious disease area
  • Focus on portfolio evolution through assessment and prioritization of new menu opportunities and launch of new products.
  • Advises and manages stakeholders by reporting on special projects, business challenges and opportunities to senior management. May participate on Product Development teams providing direction as customer and marketing representative.
  • Develop business area mastery to include understanding of market segments, business model, analysis of key metrics that define success, forecasting sales and product demand, share performance, trends, competition, customer critical success factors and needs through interaction with customers for integration with programs.
  • Manage and supports the assigned segments/product lines including but not limited to forecasting, pricing, back-orders management, and launch management implementation. Works with functional groups in the US and global lifecycle and operations.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in biological science, business administration, marketing discipline, or equivalent
  • 5 years previous related experience (marketing, sales operations, finance or other commercial roles)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA from accredited college
  • Strong knowledge of ELISA immunoassays
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong team leadership skills
  • Ability to travel as dictated by business need
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Warehouse Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and Storing: Accurately receives, verifies, and stores medical supplies according to company procedures and cGMP guidelines. This includes properly labeling items and ensuring they are stored in appropriate conditions. 
  • Inventory Management: Maintains accurate inventory records, utilizing computer systems to track stock levels and locations. Regularly cycles through inventory, implementing FIFO (First In, First Out) practices to ensure older supplies are used first. 
  • Order Processing: Fulfills customer orders accurately and efficiently, selecting the correct items and ensuring they are packed properly for shipment. 
  • Inventory/Expiration Date Management: Actively monitors expiration dates, identifying and managing supplies nearing or past their expiration date, ensuring they are either used, returned, or disposed of properly. 
  • Quality Control: Adheres to cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and other quality standards to ensure the integrity and safety of the products. 
  • Safety: Follows all safety protocols and procedures, including those related to personal protective equipment (PPE), infection control, and hazardous materials handling. 
  • Documentation: Maintains accurate records of all warehouse activities, including receipts, shipments, inventory adjustments, and expiration date management. 
  • Communication: Collaborates with other team members, pharmacists, and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely receipt and delivery of supplies. 
  • Equipment Operation: May operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and other machinery, following safety procedures. 
  • Other Duties: May be assigned other duties as needed, including assisting with cycle counts, managing returns, and maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse.
