Human ARHGAP22 (Rho Gtpase-activating Protein 22) ELISA Kit
Human ARHGAP22 (Rho Gtpase-activating Protein 22) ELISA Kit
The Human (ARHGAP22) Rho Gtpase-activating Protein 22 ELISA Kit measures Rho Gtpase-Activating Protein 22 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human ARHGAP22 antibody. ARHGAP22 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human ARHGAP22 Antibody is added and binds to ARHGAP22 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated ARHGAP22 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human ARHGAP22. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Rho GTPase-activating protein involved in the signal transduction pathway that regulates endothelial cell capillary tube formation during angiogenesis. Acts as a GTPase activator for the RAC1 by converting it to an inactive GDP-bound state. Inhibits RAC1-dependent lamellipodia formation. May also play a role in transcription regulation via its interaction with VEZF1, by regulating activity of the endothelin-1 (EDN1) promoter (By similarity). Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
