Human AP1M2 (AP-1 Complex Subunit Mu 2) ELISA Kit
Human AP1M2 (AP-1 Complex Subunit Mu 2) ELISA Kit
The Human (AP1M2) AP-1 Complex Subunit Mu 2 ELISA Kit measures AP-1 complex subunit mu-2 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human AP1M2 antibody. AP1M2 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human AP1M2 Antibody is added and binds to AP1M2 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated AP1M2 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human AP1M2. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Subunit of clathrin-associated adaptor protein complex 1 that plays a role in protein sorting in the trans-Golgi network (TGN) and endosomes. The AP complexes mediate the recruitment of clathrin to membranes and the recognition of sorting signals within the cytosolic tails of transmembrane cargo molecules. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
