Human FCER1A (High Affinity Immunoglobulin Epsilon Receptor Subunit Alpha) ELISA Kit

Human FCER1A (High Affinity Immunoglobulin Epsilon Receptor Subunit Alpha) ELISA Kit

The Human (FCER1A) High Affinity Immunoglobulin Epsilon Receptor Subunit Alpha ELISA Kit measures High Affinity Immunoglobulin Epsilon Receptor Subunit Alpha in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human FCER1A antibody. FCER1A present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human FCER1A Antibody is added and binds to FCER1A in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated FCER1A antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human FCER1A. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background Binds to the Fc region of immunoglobulins epsilon. High affinity receptor. Responsible for initiating the allergic response. Binding of allergen to receptor-bound IgE leads to cell activation and the release of mediators (such as histamine) responsible for the manifestations of allergy. The same receptor also induces the secretion of important lymphokines. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
