Human FGF14 (Fibroblast Growth Factor 14) ELISA Kit
Human FGF14 (Fibroblast Growth Factor 14) ELISA Kit
The Human (FGF14) Fibroblast Growth Factor 14 ELISA Kit measures Fibroblast growth factor 14 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human FGF14 antibody. FGF14 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human FGF14 Antibody is added and binds to FGF14 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated FGF14 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human FGF14. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Fibroblast growth factor 14 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the FGF14 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities and are involved in a variety of biological processes, including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth and invasion. A mutation in this gene is associated with autosomal dominant cerebral ataxia. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
