Human ITGA11 (Integrin Alpha-11) ELISA Kit
Human ITGA11 (Integrin Alpha-11) ELISA Kit
The Human (ITGA11) Integrin Alpha-11 ELISA Kit measures Integrin alpha-11 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human ITGA11 antibody. ITGA11 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human ITGA11 Antibody is added and binds to ITGA11 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated ITGA11 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human ITGA11. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Integrin alpha-11 is a protein that, in humans, is encoded by the ITGA11 gene. This gene encodes an alpha integrin. Integrins are heterodimeric integral membrane proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. This protein contains an I domain, is expressed in muscle tissue, dimerizes with beta 1 integrin in vitro, and appears to bind collagen in this form. Therefore, the protein may be involved in attaching muscle tissue to the extracellular matrix. Alternative transcriptional splice variants have been found for this gene, but their biological validity is not determined. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
