Human ITPA (Inosine Triphosphate Py-rophosphatase) ELISA Kit

Human ITPA (Inosine Triphosphate Py-rophosphatase) ELISA Kit

The Human (ITPA) Inosine Triphosphate Py-rophosphatase ELISA Kit measures inosine triphosphate py-rophosphatase in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human ITPA antibody. ITPA present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human ITPA Antibody is added and binds to ITPA in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated ITPA antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human ITPA. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Detection Range 0.1-30 ng/mL
Sample Type Serum, plasma, cell culture supernates
Incubation(s) 1.5 hour(s)
Research Areas Signal Transduction
Background Pyrophosphatase that hydrolyzes the non-canonical purine nucleotides inosine triphosphate (ITP), deoxyinosine triphosphate (dITP) as well as 2'-deoxy-N-6-hydroxylaminopurine triposphate (dHAPTP) and xanthosine 5'-triphosphate (XTP) to their respective monophosphate derivatives. The enzyme does not distinguish between the deoxy- and ribose forms. Probably excludes non-canonical purines from RNA and DNA precursor pools, thus preventing their incorporation into RNA and DNA and avoiding chromosomal lesions. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
