Human KREMEN1 (Kremen Protein 1) ELISA Kit
Human KREMEN1 (Kremen Protein 1) ELISA Kit
The Human (KREMEN1) Kremen Protein 1 ELISA Kit measures Kremen protein 1 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human KREMEN1 antibody. KREMEN1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human KREMEN1 Antibody is added and binds to KREMEN1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated KREMEN1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human KREMEN1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Receptor for Dickkopf proteins. Cooperates with DKK1/2 to inhibit Wnt/beta-catenin signaling by promoting the endocytosis of Wnt receptors LRP5 and LRP6. In the absence of DKK1, potentiates Wnt-beta-catenin signaling by maintaining LRP5 or LRP6 at the cell membrane. Can trigger apoptosis in a Wnt-independent manner and this apoptotic activity is inhibited upon binding of the ligand DKK1. Plays a role in limb development; attenuates Wnt signaling in the developing limb to allow normal limb patterning and can also negatively regulate bone formation. Modulates cell fate decisions in the developing cochlea with an inhibitory role in hair cell fate specification. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
