The Human (LIMCH1) Lim and Calponin Homology Domains-containing Protein 1 ELISA Kit measures LIM and calponin homology domains-containing protein 1 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human LIMCH1 antibody. LIMCH1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human LIMCH1 Antibody is added and binds to LIMCH1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated LIMCH1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human LIMCH1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Activates the non-muscle myosin IIa complex by promoting the phosphorylation of its regulatory subunit MRLC/MYL9. Through the activation of non-muscle myosin IIa, positively regulates actin stress fibers assembly and stabilizes focal adhesions. It therefore negatively regulates cell spreading and cell migration.
