Human MOCS2 (Molybdopterin Synthase Catalytic Subunit) ELISA Kit
Human MOCS2 (Molybdopterin Synthase Catalytic Subunit) ELISA Kit
The Human (MOCS2) Molybdopterin Synthase Catalytic Subunit ELISA Kit measures Molybdopterin Synthase Catalytic Subunit in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human MOCS2 antibody. MOCS2 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human MOCS2 Antibody is added and binds to MOCS2 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated MOCS2 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human MOCS2. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Catalytic subunit of the molybdopterin Synthase complex, a complex that catalyzes the conversion of precursor Z into molybdopterin. Acts by mediating the incorporation of 2 sulfur atoms from thiocarboxylated MOCS2A into precursor Z to generate a dithiolene group. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
