Human MT-ND2 (Nadh-ubiquinone Oxidoreductase Chain 2) ELISA Kit
Human MT-ND2 (Nadh-ubiquinone Oxidoreductase Chain 2) ELISA Kit
The Human (MT-ND2) Nadh-ubiquinone Oxidoreductase Chain 2 ELISA Kit measures Nadh-Ubiquinone Oxidoreductase Chain 2 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human MT-ND2 antibody. MT- ND2 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human MT-ND2 Antibody is added and binds to MT-ND2 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated MT-ND2 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human MT-ND2. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Core subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I) that is believed to belong to the minimal assembly required for catalysis. Complex I functions in the transfer of electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain. The immediate electron acceptor for the enzyme is believed to be ubiquinone (By similarity).
