Human MYLIP (E3 Ubiquitin-protein Ligase Mylip) ELISA Kit
Human MYLIP (E3 Ubiquitin-protein Ligase Mylip) ELISA Kit
The Human (MYLIP) E3 Ubiquitin-protein Ligase Mylip ELISA Kit measures E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase MYLIP in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human MYLIP antibody. MYLIP present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human MYLIP Antibody is added and binds to MYLIP in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated MYLIP antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human MYLIP. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Myosin regulatory light chain interacting protein, also known as MYLIP, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the MYLIP gene. MYLIP is also known as IDOL "Inducible Degrader of the LDL receptor" based on its involvement in cholesterol regulation or MIR "Modulator Of Immune Recognition". The expression of IDOL is induced by the sterol-activated liver X receptor. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
