Human NCR3 (Natural Cytotoxicity Triggering Receptor 3) ELISA Kit
Human NCR3 (Natural Cytotoxicity Triggering Receptor 3) ELISA Kit
The Human (NCR3) Natural Cytotoxicity Triggering Receptor 3 ELISA Kit measures Natural Cytotoxicity Triggering Receptor 3 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human NCR3 antibody. NCR3 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human NCR3 Antibody is added and binds to NCR3 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated NCR3 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human NCR3. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Cell membrane receptor of natural killer/NK cells that is activated by binding of extracellular ligands including BAG6 and NCR3LG1. Stimulates NK cells cytotoxicity toward neighboring cells producing these ligands. It controls, for instance, NK cells cytotoxicity against tumor cells. Engagement of NCR3 by BAG6 also promotes myeloid dendritic cells (DC) maturation, both through killing DCs that did not acquire a mature phenotype, and inducing the release by NK cells of TNFA and IFNG which promote DC maturation.
