Human NKRF (Nf-Kappa-B-repressing Factor) ELISA Kit
The Human (NKRF) Nf-Kappa-B-repressing Factor ELISA Kit measures Nf-Kappa-B-Repressing Factor in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human NKRF antibody. NKRF present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human NKRF Antibody is added and binds to NKRF in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated NKRF antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human NKRF. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Interacts with a specific negative regulatory element (NRE) 5'-AATTCCTCTGA-3' to mediate transcriptional repression of certain NK-kappa-B responsive genes. Involved in the constitutive silencing of the interferon beta promoter, independently of the virus-induced signals, and in the inhibition of the basal and cytokine-induced iNOS promoter activity.
