Human NSF (Vesicle-Fusing Atpase) ELISA Kit
Human NSF (Vesicle-Fusing Atpase) ELISA Kit
The Human (NSF) Vesicle-Fusing Atpase ELISA Kit measures Vesicle-Fusing Atpase in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human NSF antibody. NSF present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human NSF Antibody is added and binds to NSF in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated NSF antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human NSF. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Required for vesicle-mediated transport. Catalyzes the fusion of transport vesicles within the Golgi cisternae. Is also required for transport from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi stack. Seems to function as a fusion protein required for the delivery of cargo proteins to all compartments of the Golgi stack independent of vesicle origin. Interaction with AMPAR subunit GRIA2 leads to influence GRIA2 membrane cycling (By similarity). Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
