Human ODAM (Odontogenic Ameloblast-associated Protein) ELISA Kit
The Human (ODAM) Odontogenic Ameloblast-associated Protein ELISA Kit measures Odontogenic ameloblast-associated protein in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human ODAM antibody. ODAM present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human ODAM Antibody is added and binds to ODAM in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated ODAM antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human ODAM. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

May be incorporated in the enamel matrix at the end of mineralization process. Involved in the induction of RHOA activity via interaction with ARHGEF and expression of downstream factors such as ROCK. Plays a role in attachment of the junctional epithelium to the tooth surface.
