Human PAWR (Prkc Apoptosis Wt1 Regulator Protein) ELISA Kit
Human PAWR (Prkc Apoptosis Wt1 Regulator Protein) ELISA Kit
The Human (PAWR) Prkc Apoptosis Wt1 Regulator Protein ELISA Kit measures Prkc Apoptosis Wt1 Regulator Protein in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human PAWR antibody. PAWR present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human PAWR Antibody is added and binds to PAWR in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated PAWR antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human PAWR. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Pro-apoptotic protein capable of selectively inducing apoptosis in cancer cells, sensitizing the cells to diverse apoptotic stimuli and causing regression of tumors in animal models. Induces apoptosis in certain cancer cells by activation of the Fas prodeath pathway and coparallel inhibition of NF-kappa-B transcriptional activity. Inhibits the transcriptional activation and augments the transcriptional repression mediated by WT1. Down-regulates the anti-apoptotic protein BCL2 via its interaction with WT1. Seems also to be a transcriptional repressor by itself. May be directly involved in regulating the amyloid precursor protein (APP) cleavage activity of BACE1. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
