Human PDCD5 (Programmed Cell Death Protein 5) ELISA Kit
Human PDCD5 (Programmed Cell Death Protein 5) ELISA Kit
The Human (PDCD5) Programmed Cell Death Protein 5 ELISA Kit measures Programmed cell death protein 5 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human PDCD5 antibody. PDCD5 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human PDCD5 Antibody is added and binds to PDCD5 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated PDCD5 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human PDCD5. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Programmed cell death protein 5 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the PDCD5 gene. This gene encodes a protein expressed in tumor cells during apoptosis independent of the apoptosis-inducing stimuli. Prior to apoptosis induction, this gene product is distributed in both the nucleus and cytoplasm. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
