Human PYGL (Glycogen Phosphorylase, Liver Form) ELISA Kit
Human PYGL (Glycogen Phosphorylase, Liver Form) ELISA Kit
The Human (PYGL) Glycogen Phosphorylase, Liver Form ELISA Kit measures Glycogen Phosphorylase, Liver Form in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human PYGL antibody. PYGL present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human PYGL Antibody is added and binds to PYGL in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated PYGL antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human PYGL. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Phosphorylase is an important allosteric enzyme in carbohydrate metabolism. Enzymes from different sources differ in their regulatory mechanisms and in their natural substrates. However, all known phosphorylases share catalytic and structural properties. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
