Human RAP1B (Ras-related Protein RAP-1B) ELISA Kit
Human RAP1B (Ras-related Protein RAP-1B) ELISA Kit
The Human (RAP1B) Ras-related Protein RAP-1B ELISA Kit measures Ras-Related Protein Rap-1B in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human RAP1B antibody. RAP1B present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human RAP1B Antibody is added and binds to RAP1B in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated RAP1B antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human RAP1B. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
GTP-binding protein that possesses intrinsic GTPase activity. Contributes to the polarizing activity of KRIT1 and CDH5 in the establishment and maintenance of correct endothelial cell polarity and vascular lumen. Required for the localization of phosphorylated PRKCZ, PARD3 and TIAM1 to the cell junction. Plays a role in the establishment of basal endothelial barrier function. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
