Bovine HSPB1 (Heat Shock Protein Beta-1) ELISA Kit
Bovine HSPB1 (Heat Shock Protein Beta-1) ELISA Kit
The Bovine (HSPB1) Heat Shock Protein Beta-1 ELISA Kit measures Heat Shock Protein Beta-1 in Bovine samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Bovine HSPB1 antibody. HSPB1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Bovine HSPB1 Antibody is added and binds to HSPB1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated HSPB1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Bovine HSPB1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Small heat shock protein which functions as a molecular chaperone probably maintaining denatured proteins in a folding-competent state. Plays a role in stress resistance and actin organization. Through its molecular chaperone activity may regulate numerous biological processes including the phosphorylation and the axonal transport of neurofilament proteins. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
