The Chicken (LIN28B) Protein Lin-28 Homolog B ELISA Kit measures Protein Lin-28 Homolog B in Chicken samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Chicken LIN28B antibody. LIN28B present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Chicken LIN28B Antibody is added and binds to LIN28B in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated LIN28B antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Chicken LIN28B. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Suppressor of specific microRNA (miRNA) biogenesis. Binds target primary miRNA transcripts and sequester them in the nucleolus, away from the microprocessor complex, hence preventing their processing into mature miRNA.
