The Human (ARL4C) Adp Ribosylation Factor Like Protein 4C ELISA Kit measures Adp Ribosylation Factor Like Protein 4C in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human ARL4C antibody. ARL4C present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human ARL4C Antibody is added and binds to ARL4C in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated ARL4C antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human ARL4C. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Small GTP-binding protein which cycles between an inactive GDP-bound and an active GTP-bound form, and the rate of cycling is regulated by guanine nucleotide exchange factors (GEF) and GTPase-activating proteins (GAP). GTP-binding protein that does not act as an allosteric activator of the cholera toxin catalytic subunit. May be involved in transport between a perinuclear compartment and the plasma membrane, apparently linked to the ABCA1-mediated cholesterol secretion pathway. Recruits CYTH1, CYTH2, CYTH3 and CYTH4 to the plasma membrane in the GDP-bound form.
