The Human (ASB2) Ankyrin Repeat and Socs Box Protein 2 ELISA Kit measures Ankyrin Repeat and Socs Box Protein 2 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human ASB2 antibody. ASB2 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human ASB2 Antibody is added and binds to ASB2 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated ASB2 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human ASB2. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Substrate-recognition component of a SCF-like ECS (Elongin-Cullin-SOCS-box protein) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex which mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. [Isoform 1]: Enhances adhesion of hematopoietic cells to fibronectin through targeting of filamins FLNA and FLNB for proteasomal degradation, it is transiantly expressed during hematopoietic cell differentiation.
