Human ATP2A1 (Sarcoplasmic Endoplasmic Reticulum Calcium Atpase 1) ELISA Kit

Human ATP2A1 (Sarcoplasmic Endoplasmic Reticulum Calcium Atpase 1) ELISA Kit

The Human (ATP2A1) Sarcoplasmic Endoplasmic Reticulum Calcium Atpase 1 ELISA Kit measures Sarcoplasmic/endoplasmic reticulum calcium ATPase 1 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human ATP2A1 antibody. ATP2A1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human ATP2A1 Antibody is added and binds to ATP2A1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated ATP2A1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human ATP2A1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background Key regulator of striated muscle performance by acting as the major Ca2+ ATPase responsible for the reuptake of cytosolic Ca2+ into the sarcoplasmic reticulum. Catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the translocation of calcium from the cytosol to the sarcoplasmic reticulum lumen (By similarity). Contributes to calcium sequestration involved in muscular excitation/contraction (PubMed:10914677). Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
Shipping Condition Shipped on cold gel packs.
