The Human (BANP) Protein Banp ELISA Kit measures Protein Banp in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human BANP antibody. BANP present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human BANP Antibody is added and binds to BANP in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated BANP antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human BANP. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Controls V(D)J recombination during T-cell development by repressing T-cell receptor (TCR) beta enhancer function. Binds to scaffold/matrix attachment region beta (S/MARbeta), an ATC-rich DNA sequence located upstream of the TCR beta enhancer. Represses cyclin D1 transcription by recruiting HDAC1 to its promoter, thereby diminishing H3K9ac, H3S10ph and H4K8ac levels.
