Human BDKRB1 (B1 Bradykinin Receptor) ELISA Kit
Human BDKRB1 (B1 Bradykinin Receptor) ELISA Kit
The Human (BDKRB1) B1 Bradykinin Receptor ELISA Kit measures B1 bradykinin receptor in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human BDKRB1 antibody. BDKRB1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human BDKRB1 Antibody is added and binds to BDKRB1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated BDKRB1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human BDKRB1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Bradykinin receptor B1 (B1) is a G-protein coupled receptor encoded by the BDKRB1 gene in humans. Its principal ligand is bradykinin, a 9 amino acid peptide generated in pathophysiologic conditions such as inflammation, trauma, burns, shock, and allergy. The B1 receptor is one of two of G protein-coupled receptors that have been found which bind bradykinin and mediate responses to these pathophysiologic conditions. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
