Human BTN3A1 (Butyrophilin Subfamily 3 Member A1) ELISA Kit
Human BTN3A1 (Butyrophilin Subfamily 3 Member A1) ELISA Kit
The Human (BTN3A1) Butyrophilin Subfamily 3 Member A1 ELISA Kit measures Butyrophilin subfamily 3 member A1 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human BTN3A1 antibody. BTN3A1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human BTN3A1 Antibody is added and binds to BTN3A1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated BTN3A1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human BTN3A1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Plays a role in T-cell activation and in the adaptive immune response. Regulates the proliferation of activated T-cells. Regulates the release of cytokines and IFNG by activated T-cells. Mediates the response of T-cells toward infected and transformed cells that are characterized by high levels of phosphorylated metabolites, such as isopentenyl pyrophosphate.
