Human C9ORF72 (Uncharacterized Protein C9Orf72) ELISA Kit
Human C9ORF72 (Uncharacterized Protein C9Orf72) ELISA Kit
The Human (C9ORF72) Uncharacterized Protein C9Orf72 ELISA Kit measures Uncharacterized protein C9orf72 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human C9orf72 antibody. C9orf72 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human C9orf72 Antibody is added and binds to C9orf72 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated C9orf72 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human C9orf72. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
C9orf72 (chromosome 9 open reading frame 72) is a protein which in humans is encoded by the gene C9orf72. The human C9orf72 gene is located on the short (p) arm of chromosome 9 open reading frame 72, from base pair 27,546,546 to base pair 27,573,866 (GRCh38). Its cytogenetic location is at 9p21.2.
