Human CAP2 (Adenylyl Cyclase-associated Protein 2) ELISA Kit
Human CAP2 (Adenylyl Cyclase-associated Protein 2) ELISA Kit
The Human (CAP2) Adenylyl Cyclase-associated Protein 2 ELISA Kit measures Adenylyl cyclase-associated protein 2 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human CAP2 antibody. CAP2 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human CAP2 Antibody is added and binds to CAP2 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CAP2 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human CAP2. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Adenylyl cyclase-associated protein 2 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the CAP2 gene. This gene was identified by its similarity to the gene for human adenylyl cyclase-associated protein. The function of the protein encoded by this gene is unknown. However, the protein appears to be able to interact with adenylyl cyclase-associated protein and actin. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
