Human CCNE1 (G1 S-specific Cyclin-E1) ELISA Kit
Human CCNE1 (G1 S-specific Cyclin-E1) ELISA Kit
The Human (CCNE1) G1 S-specific Cyclin-E1 ELISA Kit measures G1/S-specific cyclin-E1 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human CCNE1 antibody. CCNE1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human CCNE1 Antibody is added and binds to CCNE1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CCNE1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human CCNE1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
G1/S-specific cyclin-E1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CCNE1 gene. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the highly conserved cyclin family, whose members are characterized by a dramatic periodicity in protein abundance through the cell cycle. Cyclins function as regulators of CDK. Different cyclins exhibit distinct expression and degradation patterns which contribute to the temporal coordination of each mitotic event.
