Human CCNT1 (Cyclin T1) ELISA Kit

Human CCNT1 (Cyclin T1) ELISA Kit

The Human (CCNT1) Cyclin T1 ELISA Kit measures Cyclin T1 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human CCNT1 antibody. CCNT1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human CCNT1 Antibody is added and binds to CCNT1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CCNT1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human CCNT1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background Regulatory subunit of the cyclin-dependent kinase pair (CDK9/cyclin-T1) complex, also called positive transcription elongation factor B (P-TEFb), which is proposed to facilitate the transition from abortive to productive elongation by phosphorylating the CTD (C-terminal domain) of the large subunit of RNA polymerase II (RNA Pol II). (Microbial infection) In case of HIV or SIV infections, binds to the transactivation domain of the viral nuclear transcriptional activator, Tat, thereby increasing Tat's affinity for the transactivating response RNA element (TAR RNA). Serves as an essential cofactor for Tat, by promoting RNA Pol II activation, allowing transcription of viral genes. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
