Human CCT5 (T-complex Protein 1 Subunit Epsilon) ELISA Kit
Human CCT5 (T-complex Protein 1 Subunit Epsilon) ELISA Kit
The Human (CCT5) T-complex Protein 1 Subunit Epsilon ELISA Kit measures T-complex protein 1 subunit epsilon in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human CCT5 antibody. CCT5 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human CCT5 Antibody is added and binds to CCT5 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CCT5 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human CCT5. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Component of the chaperonin-containing T-complex (TRiC), a molecular chaperone complex that assists the folding of proteins upon ATP hydrolysis (PubMed:25467444).
The TRiC complex mediates the folding of WRAP53/TCAB1, thereby regulating telomere maintenance (PubMed:25467444).
As part of the TRiC complex may play a role in the assembly of BBSome, a complex involved in ciliogenesis regulating transports vesicles to the cilia (PubMed:20080638).
The TRiC complex plays a role in the folding of actin and tubulin (Probable). Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
