Human CCT6A (T-complex Protein 1 Subunit Zeta) ELISA Kit
Human CCT6A (T-complex Protein 1 Subunit Zeta) ELISA Kit
The Human (CCT6A) T-complex Protein 1 Subunit Zeta ELISA Kit measures T-complex protein 1 subunit zeta in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human CCT6A antibody. CCT6A present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human CCT6A Antibody is added and binds to CCT6A in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CCT6A antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human CCT6A. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
T-complex protein 1 subunit zeta is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CCT6A gene. This gene encodes a molecular chaperone that is member of the TRiC complex. This complex consists of two identical stacked rings, each containing eight different proteins. Unfolded polypeptides enter the central cavity of the complex and are folded in an ATP-dependent manner. The complex folds various proteins, including actin and tubulin. Alternate transcriptional splice variants of this gene, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
