Human CD7 (T-cell Antigen CD7) ELISA Kit
Human CD7 (T-cell Antigen CD7) ELISA Kit
The Human (CD7) T-cell Antigen CD7 ELISA Kit measures T-cell antigen CD7 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human CD7 antibody. CD7 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human CD7 Antibody is added and binds to CD7 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CD7 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human CD7. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
CD7 (Cluster of Differentiation 7) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CD7 gene. This gene encodes a transmembrane protein which is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. This protein is found on thymocytes and mature T cells. It plays an essential role in T-cell interactions and also in T-cell/B-cell interaction during early lymphoid development.
