Human CD79B (B-cell Antigen Receptor Complex-associated Protein Beta Chain) ELISA Kit

Human CD79B (B-cell Antigen Receptor Complex-associated Protein Beta Chain) ELISA Kit

The Human (CD79B) B-cell Antigen Receptor Complex-associated Protein Beta Chain ELISA Kit measures B-cell antigen receptor complex-associated protein beta chain in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human CD79B antibody. CD79B present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human CD79B Antibody is added and binds to CD79B in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CD79B antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human CD79B. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Research Areas Immunology
Background Required in cooperation with CD79A for initiation of the signal transduction cascade activated by the B-cell antigen receptor complex (BCR) which leads to internalization of the complex, trafficking to late endosomes and antigen presentation. Enhances phosphorylation of CD79A, possibly by recruiting kinases which phosphorylate CD79A or by recruiting proteins which bind to CD79A and protect it from dephosphorylation.
