Human CD80 (T-lymphocyte Activation Antigen Cd80) ELISA Kit
Human CD80 (T-lymphocyte Activation Antigen Cd80) ELISA Kit
The Human (CD80) T-lymphocyte Activation Antigen Cd80 ELISA Kit measures T-Lymphocyte Activation Antigen CD80 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human CD80 antibody. CD80 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human CD80 Antibody is added and binds to CD80 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CD80 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human CD80. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Involved in the costimulatory signal essential for T-lymphocyte activation. T-cell proliferation and cytokine production is induced by the binding of CD28, binding to CTLA-4 has opposite effects and inhibits T-cell activation. (Microbial infection) Acts as a receptor for adenovirus subgroup B. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
