Human CD96 (T-cell Surface Protein Tactile) ELISA Kit
Human CD96 (T-cell Surface Protein Tactile) ELISA Kit
The Human (CD96) T-cell Surface Protein Tactile ELISA Kit measures T-cell surface protein tactile in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human CD96 antibody. CD96 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human CD96 Antibody is added and binds to CD96 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CD96 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human CD96. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
May be involved in adhesive interactions of activated T and NK cells during the late phase of the immune response. Promotes NK cell-target adhesion by interacting with PVR present on target cells. May function at a time after T and NK cells have penetrated the endothelium using integrins and selectins, when they are actively engaging diseased cells and moving within areas of inflammation.
