The Human (CDC25B) M-phase Inducer Phosphatase 2 ELISA Kit measures M-Phase Inducer Phosphatase 2 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human CDC25B antibody. CDC25B present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human CDC25B Antibody is added and binds to CDC25B in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CDC25B antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human CDC25B. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Tyrosine protein phosphatase which functions as a dosage-dependent inducer of mitotic progression. Required for G2/M phases of the cell cycle progression and abscission during cytokinesis in a ECT2-dependent manner. Directly dephosphorylates CDK1 and stimulates its kinase activity.
