Human CLEC7A (C-type Lectin Domain Family 7 Member A) ELISA Kit
Human CLEC7A (C-type Lectin Domain Family 7 Member A) ELISA Kit
The Human (CLEC7A) C-type Lectin Domain Family 7 Member A ELISA Kit measures C-Type Lectin Domain Family 7 Member A in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human CLEC7A antibody. CLEC7A present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human CLEC7A Antibody is added and binds to CLEC7A in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CLEC7A antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human CLEC7A. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Lectin that functions as pattern receptor specific for beta-1,3-linked and beta-1,6-linked glucans, such as cell wall constituents from pathogenic bacteria and fungi. Induces phosphorylation of SCIMP after binding beta-glucans (By similarity). Necessary for the TLR2-mediated inflammatory response and for TLR2-mediated activation of NF-kappa-B. Enhances cytokine production in macrophages and dendritic cells. Mediates production of reactive oxygen species in the cell. Mediates phagocytosis of C.albicans conidia. Binds T-cells in a way that does not involve their surface glycans and plays a role in T-cell activation. Stimulates T-cell proliferation (By similarity). Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
