Human CLEC9A (C-type Lectin Domain Family 9 Member A) ELISA Kit
Human CLEC9A (C-type Lectin Domain Family 9 Member A) ELISA Kit
The Human (CLEC9A) C-type Lectin Domain Family 9 Member A ELISA Kit measures C-type lectin domain family 9 member A in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human CLEC9A antibody. CLEC9A present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human CLEC9A Antibody is added and binds to CLEC9A in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CLEC9A antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human CLEC9A. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Functions as an endocytic receptor on a small subset of myeloid cells specialized for the uptake and processing of material from dead cells. Recognizes filamentous form of actin in association with particular actin-binding domains of cytoskeletal proteins, including spectrin, exposed when cell membranes are damaged, and mediate the cross-presentation of dead-cell associated antigens in a Syk-dependent manner.
