Human CORO1A (Coronin 1A) ELISA Kit
Human CORO1A (Coronin 1A) ELISA Kit
The Human (CORO1A) Coronin 1A ELISA Kit measures Coronin 1A in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human CORO1A antibody. CORO1A present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human CORO1A Antibody is added and binds to CORO1A in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CORO1A antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human CORO1A. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
May be a crucial component of the cytoskeleton of highly motile cells, functioning both in the invagination of large pieces of plasma membrane, as well as in forming protrusions of the plasma membrane involved in cell locomotion. In mycobacteria-infected cells, its retention on the phagosomal membrane prevents fusion between phagosomes and lysosomes. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
