Human CORO2A (Coronin 2A) ELISA Kit
Human CORO2A (Coronin 2A) ELISA Kit
The Human (CORO2A) Coronin 2A ELISA Kit measures Coronin 2A in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human CORO2A antibody. CORO2A present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human CORO2A Antibody is added and binds to CORO2A in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CORO2A antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human CORO2A. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Coronin, actin binding protein, 2A is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CORO2A gene. This gene encodes a member of the WD repeat protein family. WD repeats are minimally conserved regions of approximately 40 amino acids typically bracketed by gly-his and trp-asp (GH-WD), which may facilitate formation of heterotrimeric or multiprotein complexes. Members of this family are involved in a variety of cellular processes, including cell cycle progression, signal transduction, apoptosis, and gene regulation. This protein contains 5 WD repeats, and has a structural similarity with actin-binding proteins: the D. discoideum coronin and the human p57 protein, suggesting that this protein may also be an actin-binding protein that regulates cell motility. Alternative splicing of this gene generates 2 transcript variants. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
