The Human (CORO6) Coronin 6 ELISA Kit measures Coronin 6 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human CORO6 antibody. CORO6 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human CORO6 Antibody is added and binds to CORO6 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CORO6 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human CORO6. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Coronin-6 also known as coronin-like protein E (Clipin-E) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CORO6 gene. Coronin-6 is belongs to coronin family which is an actin binding protein.[5][6] Human CORO6 gene is located on chromosome 17 on the cytogenetic band 17 p11.2.[7] Gene CORO6 is well conserved across domain of eukaryotic organisms from animal to fungi.
