The Human (CRK) Adapter Molecule Crk ELISA Kit measures Adapter Molecule Crk in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human CRK antibody. CRK present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human CRK Antibody is added and binds to CRK in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CRK antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human CRK. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Involved in phagocytosis of apoptotic cells and cell motility via its interaction with DOCK1 and DOCK4 (PubMed: 19004829). May regulate the EFNA5-EPHA3 signaling (By similarity).
