Human CSDE1 (Cold Shock Domain Containing Protein E1) ELISA Kit

Human CSDE1 (Cold Shock Domain Containing Protein E1) ELISA Kit

The Human (CSDE1) Cold Shock Domain Containing Protein E1 ELISA Kit measures Cold Shock Domain Containing Protein E1 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human CSDE1 antibody. CSDE1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human CSDE1 Antibody is added and binds to CSDE1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CSDE1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human CSDE1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background RNA-binding protein involved in translationally coupled mRNA turnover (PubMed: 11051545, PubMed: 15314026). Implicated with other RNA-binding proteins in the cytoplasmic deadenylation/translational and decay interplay of the FOS mRNA mediated by the major coding-region determinant of instability (mCRD) domain (PubMed: 11051545, PubMed: 15314026). Required for efficient formation of stress granules (PubMed: 29395067). (Microbial infection) Required for internal initiation of translation of human rhinovirus RNA.
