Human CTAP3 (Connective Tissue-activating Peptide 3) ELISA Kit
Human CTAP3 (Connective Tissue-activating Peptide 3) ELISA Kit
The Human (CTAP3) Connective Tissue-activating Peptide 3 ELISA Kit measures connective tissue-activating Peptide 3 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human CTAP3 antibody. CTAP3 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human CTAP3 Antibody is added and binds to CTAP3 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CTAP3 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human CTAP3. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
LA-PF4 stimulates DNA synthesis, mitosis, glycolysis, intracellular cAMP accumulation, prostaglandin E2 secretion, and synthesis of hyaluronic acid and sulfated glycosaminoglycan. It also stimulates the formation and secretion of plasminogen activator by human synovial cells. NAP-2 is a ligand for CXCR1 and CXCR2, and NAP-2, NAP-2(73), NAP-2(74), NAP-2(1-66), and most potent NAP-2(1-63) are chemoattractants and activators for neutrophils. TC-1 and TC-2 are antibacterial proteins, in vitro released from activated platelet alpha-granules. CTAP-III(1-81) is more potent than CTAP-III desensitize chemokine-induced neutrophil activation.
