Human CTSA (Lysosomal Protective Protein) ELISA Kit
Human CTSA (Lysosomal Protective Protein) ELISA Kit
The Human (CTSA) Lysosomal Protective Protein ELISA Kit measures Lysosomal protective protein in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human CTSA antibody. CTSA present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human CTSA Antibody is added and binds to CTSA in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CTSA antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human CTSA. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Protective protein appears to be essential for both the activity of beta-galactosidase and neuraminidase, it associates with these enzymes and exerts a protective function necessary for their stability and activity. This protein is also a carboxypeptidase and can deamidate tachykinins. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
