Human DBN1 (Drebrin) ELISA Kit
Human DBN1 (Drebrin) ELISA Kit
The Human (DBN1) Drebrin ELISA Kit measures Drebrin in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human DBN1 antibody. DBN1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human DBN1 Antibody is added and binds to DBN1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated DBN1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human DBN1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Actin cytoskeleton-organizing protein that plays a role in the formation of cell projections (PubMed: 20215400). Required for actin polymerization at immunological synapses (IS) and for the recruitment of the chemokine receptor CXCR4 to IS (PubMed: 20215400). Plays a role in dendritic spine morphogenesis and organization, including the localization of the dopamine receptor DRD1 to the dendritic spines (By similarity). Involved in memory-related synaptic plasticity in the hippocampus (By similarity). Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
